Pharmacodynamics: Vitamin C and dehydrogenated vitamin C forms a reversible redox system in vivo, which plays an important role in biological redox reactions and cellular respiration. Vitamin C is involved in amino acid metabolism and the synthesis of Neurotransmitter, collagen, and tissue cytoplasm , which reduces capillary permeability, promotes iron absorption in the intestine, enhances the resistance to infection and detoxification of liver. Vitamin C is easily absorbed in the small intestine after oral administration and widely distributed in tissues. The binding rate of

plasma protein is about 25%.  It is metabolized in liver , mainly excreted in the urine, and is metabolized to oxalic acid (oxalic acid) when overdose.  Vitamin C is used to relieve methemoglobinemia associated with acetaminophen poisoning.  In the case of increased oxidative stress, those animals that need nutritional support may need to supply with vitamin C.
